Step 1: Go to Counter and Add orders
Open the Spaces section → here you will see Counter
Tap [+ Add Order]
Step 2: Add Menu Items
Search for items by tapping Search Menu, or
Simply browse the menu and tap ( + ) to add items (for example: Chicken Burger)
Your order total will update at the bottom
You can add multiple items before confirming. If an item is missing, tap "Add a New Item".

Step 3: Select Delivery & Add Customer Delivery Details
Make sure Delivery is selected at the top
Tap "Add" under Customer Delivery Details
Enter the customer’s name, phone number, and delivery address
Tap Confirm Order to send it to the kitchen
Step 4: Complete Payment
Open the Order Details screen
Tap Mark as Paid to complete the payment
Note: Payment must be done before marking the order as On Delivery
Step 5: Mark Order as On delivery
When the delivery partner picks up the order, update the status to On Delivery
Step 6: Mark Order as Delivered
After the order reaches the customer, update the status to Delivered
Orderlay can automatically:
Auto-confirm after placing a Dine-In order
Auto-move to Preparing after confirmation
Skip “Mark as Ready” step
This reduces manual work during busy hours.
